In chapter six of "Self and Other" R. D. Laing defined a collusion in terms of a game played dishonestly by two or more people who tacitly agree that they are: #1. Not playing any game, #2. Not to articulate the rules of their dishonest game, #3. Not to drop out of their dishonest game, #4. To severely punish and/or excommunicate anybody who does drop out of their dishonest game. Such people cannot recognize their dishonest game and cannot transcend their dishonest game; unilaterally or cooperatively.
Colluders are blind, deaf, dumb, and ill-at-ease; dis-eased. They cannot heal themselves and cannot accept theratening offers of true help from true lovers who can recognize, name, describe, transcend and subvert their dishonest game. Colluders feel/think that true lovers would send them straight into hell!
