A brief-essay about EVIL

%%EVIL 030701

Evil relationships are characterized by: alienation, estrangement, isolation, rejections, dishonesty, collusions, addictions, codependencies, blocked communications, excommunications, misunderstandings, confusion, hopelessness, arrogance, self- righteousness, coercion and violence.

It is more helpful to focus upon how evil relationships undermine our personal and communal integrities, than upon labeling isolated people as evil-people; and trying to eleminate evil from our world.

Personification of good and evil as residing within individuals is misleading. Such personification tempts us to be dishonest about how helpful it would be for us all to colaborate in healing our evil relationships; and leads us into addictions with codependent supporters.
