For this reason they desire that it be free of emotions which cloud objectivity---by conflicts among desires which occasion emotions. Thus scientists desire that the world be free of desires. That desire lacks integrity and undermines integrity. Scientists' belief that they can achieve unbiased understanding of the objects of their understanding--- ostensibly offers a comprehensive way to understand themselves the universe of which they are part; in a theory of everything. Thus they believe that they can understand the universe of which they are part. They presume that that they can understand themselves, and their place in the universe, by objectifying themselves, so as to view themselves and their place in the universe, by objectifying themselves so as to view themselves without bias. Because they believe that they have succeeded in doing this, they can not see that their belief is biased. Their desire for success in being unbiased---blinds them to their bias. The only way they can enjoy the successful fulfillment of their desires---is to be unaware of their enjoyment and/or their desire. Thus their lives are devoid of open and honest desire, fulfillment, joy, reflection and inter-personal responsiveness. Scientists presume that their frustrations originate in their failure to fulfill the technical possibilities in the sophistication of their program for the objectification of their world---and all elements within it. Thus scientists seek to manipulate taxpayers into providing the money with which complete the program of objectification. Some taxpayers have not yet been objectified and resist scientists' efforts to manipulate them as if they were objects---destined to be the subjects of further objectification by scientists whose greatest ideal is to understand themselves as objects---free of desires, emotions and self-reflection. Those who have not yet lost their integrity through objectification---can see that the program lacks integrity. The experts in objectification can not perceive that neither they nor their program has or facilitates the kind of integrity which facilitates the balanced integration of individuals and communities; both of which are essential to the reduction of frustration. Scientists' program of total objectification is not worthy of respect or support. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
