It is a tragic mistake to threaten and punish people who make mistakes in their search for Love. People who make mistakes in their search for love need encouragement, guidance, and gifts of security --- known and enjoyed as the freedom to be safely vulnerable in Love; in increasingly intimate relationships which are healthy, open and honest---and so entail taking risks of making mistakes. The risks of making mistakes are increased by unbalanced and/or misleading ideals, values, principles and goals --- which are affirmed and/or dominate in ways which show little respect for the importance of personal desires --- openly expressed, examined, talked about and evaluated. Mistakes are engendered by the resulting alienation and evil relationships. The risks of making mistakes are increased by the repression of careful consideration of alternative and perhaps unconventional --- ideals, values, principles, goals, desires, hopes, aspirations and intentions--- examined in the context of dreams, visions, and fantasies which are less risky than are thoughtless efforts to fulfill alternatives without advance examination within a low-risk environment. The risks of making mistakes are increased by alienation which leads to ignorance, misunderstanding, confusion, dis-ease, ill-will, coercion, manipulations and violence. When confronted by people who make mistakes we need to keep in mind that alienation leads to injuries, hurts, wounds, dis-abilities, and evil relationships --- which in turn earn more of like kinds of returns---through compound (fractured and/or disintegrative) interest. We act like fools if we feel and "think" that we can help to promote personal and communal integrity by responding in alienative ways to people who have made mistakes in yearning for and searching for true Love. The risks of making mistakes are increased by alienation which leads to ignorance, misunderstanding, confusion, dis-ease, ill-will, coercion, manipulations and violence. People who make mistakes in their search for love need encouragement, guidance, and gifts of security known and enjoyed as the freedom to be safely vulnerable in Love; in intimate relationships which are open and honest --- and so entail taking risks of making mistakes. If we punish people who make mistakes in their yearning for and seeking true Love---we thereby engender alienation, and discourage them from yearning for and seeking personal integrity in true Love. Such punishment is bound to lead to increases in ignorance, misunderstanding, confusion, dis-ease, ill- will, coercion, manipulations and violence. We act like fools when we punish people who make mistakes in their yearning for and seeking fulfillment in true Love. People who make mistakes in their search for Love need encouragement, guidance, and gifts of true security known and enjoyed as the freedom to be safely vulnerable in Love; in increasingly intimate relationships which are open and honest---and so entail taking risks of making mistakes. When we make mistakes in our yearning for and seeking true Love---we over and over need to hear open and honest descriptions of the nature of our journey as experienced personally by others. We do not need coercive: prescriptions, proscriptions, conscriptions or scriptural quotations. Violence begets violence. In contrast true Love begets serenity, peace and tranquility; not "holy" conflict. "God is Love." Love is God. To understand spiritual mysteries and paradoxes we need to think clearly and share our own experiences and perceptions openly and honestly. If we do not do so---we become confused, ignorant, dis- eased, ill-willed, coercive, manipulative and violent in alienative ways which are not the ways of Love. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
