Evil messages are messages which generate alienation. Evil messages are usually not stated in overt verbal language, but the above overt verbal statements suggest the character of the content of many evil messages which are all too common in the absence of personal and communal integrity. Evil messages pass between members of a community who abuse their powers. Evil messages also pass between seats of power within the individual members of a community. Humans often internalize conflicting agendas which do not demonstrate respect for each other, or for the body and the physical needs of the human(s) within which they are embodied. Such internalized realities have been called demons. They conflict with each other and undermine the integrity of the person(s) and/or community(ies) which embodies them. Evil messages pass between demons which are internalized in our bodies and/or communities. In order to promote both personal and communal integrity we need to better understand and articulate the dynamic ways in which evil messages threaten our personal and communal integrity. It is helpful to recognize that there are important differences between attributing evil to: 1. Things 2. People 3. Messages 4. Relationships There are more dangers is attributing evil to things and people than, to messages and relationships; for evil has more to do with the quality of messages and relationships, than with individual things or persons. It is prejudicial and dangerous to fall into a pattern of attributing evil to particular kinds of things, people and activities; without careful consideration of the quality, honesty, and integrity of the messages and relationships in each unique situation where they are encountered. It is important to distinguish between what evil may honestly be attributed to in many instances, and what evil may not honestly be attributed to in most instance. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
