Formal education focuses upon the formalized forms of new understandings, knowledge, and science --- upon the formal retrospective proofs of the correctness of the creative new hypotheses which successfully challenged old discredited absolute truths, wisdom and collusions. Formal education rarely penetrates the darkness of confusion, prejudice, ignorance and collusions --- which made the discernment of and articulation of the new hypotheses so difficult in the first instance. It is often nearly impossible to travel back in time --- to perceive "reality" as it was perceived before the successful articulation of the creative new hypothesis which shook the foundation of old conventional truths, wisdom and collusions. Creative scientists must find supportive gracious contexts within which they are free to be safely vulnerable in being true to themselves and each other --- about hints of totally new ways of viewing: reality, elements, compounds, relationships, and reflections upon them. Such a process is difficult enough when it focuses upon objective realities. The difficulties are compounded many times over --- when the process focuses upon reflexive realities which include in essential ways the participants in their reflexive personal realities, relationships and elements. Virtually all people are immersed in a web of interacting collusive games of mutual self deception. Such a web promotes dishonest perceptions and interpretations of: the nature of reality, what is possible, and what is impossible; what is good and what is evil; what is integrative and what is disintegrative; what is proper and what is improper. When trapped within such a web --- it is dangerous to talk about hints of hypotheses which challenge conventional: truths, wisdom, perspectives, commandments, prescriptions, proscriptions, etc. Truly creative people manage to find and nurture small groups of people who are together in being willing to ask new questions which transcend old assumptions and old demands. They look for signs that point to old assumptions and demands which lack integrity --- and so promote both personal and communal disintegration. They follow such signs as pointing out a way to encounter and identify domains where new hypotheses can fruitfully be formulated, tested, and shown to merit further careful and honest consideration. Such people search for suggestions of the possibility of increased coherence, integrity and cooperation --- in open and honest dialogue which transcends old truths, conventions, rituals, proscriptions, perceptions and collusive games of mutual self deception. It is often a personally challenging, dangerous and exhilarating adventure. Not all explorers survive the risks of the adventure. Many explorers are destroyed by respected people who defend without limit --- old truths, conventions, rituals, proscriptions, perceptions and collusive games of mutual self deception. It is usually the subsequent generations who learn how to respect the creativity of the courageous explorers who opened up new ways of perceiving, understanding, relating and cooperating within healthy communities where honesty, gentleness, and humility prevail. The pioneers explored new hypotheses which challenged old perceptions. They prudently took the risk of testing the new hypotheses within small communities of explorers who transcended old truths, conventions, rituals, proscriptions, perceptions and collusive games of mutual self deception.
