%SEE RECOGNIZE DISCERN ACKNOWLEDGE ADMIT ERROR FLAW 040618 %MISTAKE BLUNDER COLLUSION MISLEAD TRICKED DECEIVED 040618 %ARROGANCE SELF RIGHTEOUS DOMINEERING DICTATOR EVIL 040618 People who cannot (or refuse to): see, recognize, discern, admit-to, and/or acknowledge --- their own flaws, mistakes, blunders, arrogance, self-righteousness, domineering-natures, collusions, need for gracious-assistance; being-mislead, being-tricked, being-deceived, being-mentally-ill, etc. --- are unable to be or become; or help others to be, or become: wise, prudent, responsible, respectable, reliable, well-informed, un-biased, trust-worthy, etc. Such people do not merit appointment to or election to leadership positions with any significant responsibilities and/or powers. They cannot be integrative leaders when they themselves are not guided and motivated by a coherent and well integrated extensive set of mutually complementary: ideals, values & virtues. We need to be clear about a number of points made above: 1. No one or small number of arbitrary and/or unilateral ideals, values and virtues can be an adequate ground for true respect, honor, trust and/or reverence. 2. In the absence of coherence and a clear pattern of integration --- no set of ideals, values and virtues can be an adequate ground for respect, honor, trust and/or reverence. 3. In the absence of personal-working-commitments to certain-essential-foundations for personal-and- communal-integrity; e.g., honesty, authenticity, civility, generosity, hospitality, cooperation, kindness, sensitivity, empathy, etc. --- no independent and/or unilateral set of ideals, values and virtues can be an adequate ground for respect, honor, trust and/or reverence. 4. In the persistent-presence of personal- tolerance for certain systemic-threats to personal-and- communal- integrities and integrations; e.g., dishonesty, artificiality, contentiousness, greed, hostility, combativeness, meanness, insensitivity, disdain, etc. --- no independent and/or unilateral set of ideals, values and virtues can be an adequate ground for respect, honor, trust and/or reverences.
