We cannot be well and do well so long as we are in conflict internally and within our inter-relationships as regards our identities and identifications. To be well and do well we need to cooperate with all others in our processes of becoming integrated in regards to our identities and identifications. Our personal and communal integrities depend upon our processes of becoming integrated in regards to our identities and identifications. Many of our fears, anxieties, conflicts and failures are rooted in the persistent conflicts which we fail to address openly and honestly---in being true to ourselves and each other---as regards who we are. We cannot be well together if we do not address openly and honesty who we are in our true being --- within true relationships which are coherent and integrative. We will be fearful and sick together---so long as we are content to be in-coherent and in conflict within ourselves and with each other---in endless patterns of misunderstanding, confusion, prejudice, pretense, and deceptions. If we do not let go of those patterns---we fall apart and die (disintegrate) through alienation and isolation. (c) 2005 by Paul A. Smith in (On Being Yourself, Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
