Some people are relatively exclusive in how they focus their attention --- focusing virtually all of their attention in some special way; while giving virtually no attention to what other people focus most, if not virtually all, of their attention. Other people focus their attention in balanced ways upon many different things and in many different ways; not in exclusive ways. There often are conflicts between people who are proud of the differing exclusive ways in which they focus their attention. Their exclusivity is a common feature. Yet, they are in conflict because of their common feature. They do not agree upon how to be exclusive in their choices of what should be the exclusive focus of their attention. Some people focus upon selected rules, commandments, laws, regulations, pre-scriptions, pro-scriptions and scriptures. They (as part of their exclusive concern with such things) in related ways focus upon: failures, imperfections, judgments, condemnations, punishments, and excommunications. They are often dis-satisfied with how things turn out within their manipulative relationships. Other people focus upon nurturing personal relationships through open and honest dialogue about desires, hopes, aspirations, fears and growth. They are often fulfilled within the context of healthy personal relationships. They would be willing to help the people who are in conflict over their exclusive ways; but such people exclude such help form their considerations. Such people cannot be helped by inclusive people until the exclusive people decide that their way of life is unsatisfactory and they ask for help from people who have found how to live life in satisfactory integrative ways.
