Hypotheses and unconfirmed theories are by themselves inadequate---even if advanced by very powerful people. Clear evidence is impossible in the presence of self-serving biases which are free to rein---unchecked by due process procedures. Power corrupts powerful people who are prone to define evil in self-serving ways---to obscure their own corruption. Evil behavior occasions alienation, estrangement. It is often difficult to judge the extent to which the evil behavior which caused alienation is the responsibility of the person judged guilty of a no-no, or is the reasonability of the person(s) who instituted and/or enforce the alienative punishment of the no-no. The unnecessary creation of and enforcement of no-noes is evil behavior; especially if the purpose of the punishment of no-noes is the protection of: unjust privilege, childish immaturity, religious intolerance, economic repression, falsehoods, etc. The inhibition of open and honest communication is evil behavior. Is behavior which challenges such inhibition evil behavior? Who is to judge justly? Who has the power to judge justly, and appear credible to all in the attempt? (c) 2005 by Paul A.
