Because of professional standards, scientists via collusions are blind to the evil which is present in this pattern of very professional scientific behavior. They do not recognize the blockage of communication as the essence of evil. They do not recognize that their professional standards are inappropriate to inter-personal relationships, as contrasted to objective relationships. They are unaware of the limited range of propriety of their professional standards. The scientist who perceives the above and tries to communicate these perceptions, is perceived as behaving unprofessionally, and is rejected for violating the professional scientists' collusion which maintains professional standards in inter-personal scientific relationships. The editors of the professional journals are given the task of permitting only professionally written articles to be published. They are instructed to insist that articles have an appropriate combination of experimental data, quantitative analysis, references to the previous literature, affirmation of traditional assumptions, and demonstrations of respect towards politically powerful scientists. In this way the scientists inhibit the publication of profound analyses of the biases of the scientists' assumptions, epistemologies, paradigms, methodologies, languages, life-styles, emotions, etc. The publication of mere opinions regarding questions of values, priorities, and how people feel about scientists---is thus avoided and professional standards are thereby maintained. Scientists' professional behavior is inhibiting the development of a humane revolution in the teaching of and application of scientific discoveries. The professional behavior is protecting professional collusions, rather than promoting dialogue between people with significant subjective, speculative, philosophical, and personal insights on the one hand, and respected scientists on the other. In an evil way professional behavior is inhibiting dialogue. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
