%FEED BACK LOOP STUCK BLOCK INHIBIT SCHOOL 940509 All learning and teaching are reflexive processes in which the people who are involved reflect upon previous decisions, actions and experiences in feed-back loops which move the students and teachers towards mutually satisfying changes in attitudes, perceptions, and beliefs. Thus it is absurd to act as if the objective paradigm of scientists who focus nearly exclusively upon objective relationships can lead towards wise insights into what is essential to healthy learning and teaching; and also lead towards wise insights into what is central in disintegrative learning and teaching. The improvement in instruction and learning will inevitably involve reflexive processes which will transcend the exclusivity of compulsive objectivists, measurers, computers, and manipulators---who seek to achieve control over processes; without admitting that they thereby seek to achieve some measure of respect, admiration and self esteem---which would be reflexive responses to their presumably objective behaviors. People who are participating in collusive games of mutual self deception cannot honestly hope to promote both personal and communal integrity in the learning and teaching professions.
