"The Spirit" and "The Angel" of a church reveal the nature of the attitudes, assumptions, beliefs, values, concerns, etc. which pervade the life of the church and its members. Often revealed are Dominant-Concerns with: Liturgy, Scripts, Scriptures, Conformity, Doctrines, Scores, Judges, Contention, Tension, Polarizations, Self-Right- eousness, Purity, Superiority, Being-Best, etc. Often associated with such Dominant-Concerns there is an Absence-of-Concern with: Distributive-Justice, Balance, Equality, Sympathy, Empathy, Hospitality, Civility, Hope, Joy, Generosity, Humor, Hospitality, Hospitals, Healing, Relaxation, Rest, Reconciliation, and Reverence. No superiority in knowledge, wealth, force, power, technologies, weapons, passion, determination, endurance, or their close-associates --- can compensate for the above noted Dominant-Concerns and associated Absences-of-Concern that mis-lead Mislead-Contenders-for-Dominance. Where "The-Spirit" and/or "The-Angel" of a church is misleading --- sophistication, wealth, power-coalitions, orthodoxy, dreams, imaginative-visions, certainty, etc. cannot provide any kind of salvation for those who are thereby-misled.
