What questions need to be asked in response to that notion? Consider the following; remembering that DOMINATION is central to the notion: 1. Why should there be that kind of DOMINATION? 2. What motivation is there on the part of the DOMINEERING people who seek to impose that notion on others? 3. How do the promoters of the DOMINATION notion justify the notion? In terms of what transcendent: assumptions, attitudes, ideals, values, principles, etc? Can they make a good case that they are NOT motivated by self-interests, desires to augment their powers, or the worship of false gods/idols? Are the DOMINEERING people to be presumed innocent until proven guilty? Is it reasonable to be skeptical of the DOMINEERING people's motives? 4. What are the typical kinds of behaviors of, and interpersonal relationships with, the DOMINEERING people who promote the above notion? What are their fruits? Sweet? Sour? Pleasing to differing peoples? 5. Might the above notion be functioning to serve the interests of "The Domination System"? These are not questions which are to be answered authoritatively by some domineering people. These are questions which ALL people need to ask themselves, consider the evidence which they have and may yet perceive, and draw their own conclusions in the absence of domineering influences, coercion and threats of violence. Otherwise reasonable, prudent and wise people can reasonably come to the conclusion that truth has not prevailed yet. (c) 2005 by Paul A. Smith in (On Being Yourself, Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
