Meaning/satisfaction is often found by "good" people prevailing over "evil" people via dominance. 2. Only rarely do "good" people understand, transcend and subvert evil-relationships in the absence of the ability to dominate evil people. 3. Cooperation often occurs most often within the context of one team seeking to dominate another team in a battle or contest of another kind. 4. It is often seen as a sign of weakness to show reverence for people whom you do not know, respect, honor, or trust. Weak people should not be be-friended, respected, honor or trusted. 5. Strangers and different people should be treated as objects which are to be managed, manipulated, pushed around, controlled, used and/or abused without any trace of reverence being felt or shown. The above conditioning undermines the reverence, civility, hospitality and honesty which are among the essential foundations for personal and communal integrity; for civilization itself. See the book "Reverence" by Paul Woodruff for more on "reverence". (c) 2005 by Paul A. Smith in (On Being Yourself, Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
