Sex is what MEN DO TO women? 2a. Sex is what WOMEN DO TO men? 3a. Sex is what MEN AND WOMEN DO TO each other. 1b. Sex is what MEN DO FOR women? 2b. Sex is what WOMEN DO FOR men? 3b. Sex is what MEN AND WOMEN DO FOR each other. 1c. Sex is what MEN DO WITH women? 2c. Sex is what WOMEN DO WITH men? 3c. Sex is what MEN AND WOMEN DO WITH each other. 1c. Sex is what MEN GIVE TO women? 2c. Sex is what WOMEN GIVE TO men? 3c. Sex is what MEN AND WOMEN GIVE TO each other. 1d. Sex is what MEN SHARE WITH women? 2d. Sex is what WOMEN SHARE WITH men? Each statement which is taken seriously contributes to the ambience of human sexual relationships; our own, and how we relate to those of others about whom we know or dream/fantasize. The quality of our sexual relationships depends upon the nature of human intimacies which we feel we can properly: respect, observe, think about, dream about, and talk about. It is difficult to enjoy high quality sexual relationships if we feel guilty about being involved in high quality sexual relationships. The quality of our sexual relationships depends upon what kinds of statements we are most inclined to make (overtly or tacitly) about what sexual relationships are; whether the statements be like those above---or they be quite different kinds of statements. The quality of our sexual relationships also depends upon how free we are to share and talk openly about the statements which we are most inclined to make about sexual relationships---and the contexts within which we feel that we can properly: respect, observe, think about, dream about, and talk about sexual relationships. Our long human history clearly indicates that the relevant question is not whether or not there will be human sexual relationships---the relevant question is what will be the quality of human sexual relationships; and how open and honest people will be about their sexual experiences. We will do well and be well when we address the latter question openly and honestly---and so work to improve the quality of and the dialogue about the human sexual relationships which there will inevitably be.
