If God is Love, God is not a God who opposes change. If God is Love, God promotes healthy change through integrative honesty. Where there is: Dishonesty, Love promotes revolutionary honesty. Disintegration, Love promotes integration. Dis-ease, Love promotes reconciliation and healing. Stagnation, Love promotes resurrection and revival. Contentment in the status quo, Love stirs things up. Exclusive conformity, Love generates creativity. Control, Love engenders liberation and freedom. Conflict, Love inspires peacemakers to resolve them. Anger, Love through forgiveness helps people let go. Revenge, Love breaks the cycle of revenge with kindness. Ignorance, Love through honest dialogue informs. Confusion, Love sheds light which makes things clear. Addiction, Love sets people free from useless fixes. Co-dependence, Love promotes true inter-dependence. Fear and paralysis, Love casts out fear and heals. If God is Love, then God is not the head of a stagnant institution, church, or organization. If God is true Love then it is God who foments integrative revolutions and change which upsets neat systems of stagnation and protections of the status quo for the people who are preoccupied with issues of ownership and control. If God is true Love, people who are dedicated to collusive games of mutual self deception have every reason to fear God who is dedicated to exposing their disintegrative games, and so expose them as not meriting respect, honor or support---so long as they continue to play their dishonest games.
