Dishonest people are not well informed about contexts, interactions, relationships, and other considerations which influence how their own behaviors are influential---because dishonest people alienate themselves, excommunicate themselves, from the people with whom they interact. Dishonest people become ignorant people, and do not have reliable information in terms of which to intentionally be influential in the ways that they intend. It is unlikely that a dishonest person will be able to keep track of what parts of all that of they say/do is honest, and what parts of all that they say/do is dishonest; and so they will confuse themselves as well as others. It is very likely that a dishonest person will engender distrust in other people, excommunicate themself from other people, be uninformed or mis-informed about other people, and so be unable to influence them in intended ways. The dishonest person often is very influential---but not in the way which is intended; unless the intent is to be totally destructive. The influence of the dishonest person is in the direction of disintegration---not in any coherent intended direction. Dishonest people are not respected in any enduring and meaningful way.
