God does not use coercion to force us to hear, see, feel, touch, sense, experience, perceive or believe in ways which are contrary to our being true to ourselves and each other. God does not violate our personal or communal integrity in efforts to control us and get us to do His Will in ways which are contrary to our being true to ourselves and each other. God's true prophets and servants do not violate our personal or communal integrity in efforts to control us and get us to do their will in ways which are contrary to our being true to ourselves and each other. People who do violate our personal or communal integrity in efforts to control us and get us to do their will in ways which are contrary to our being true to ourselves and each other---are not God's prophets even though they are Her Children who are in great need of love, understanding, and free gifts of the freedom to be safely vulnerable in being true to us and each other. God's words are not coercive words which can be used or abused to force us to conform to some approved pattern of being, perceiving and relating. Words which are so used are not truly God's words, for He does not give His words to us to be abused by us in violent ways in our efforts to control each others. When we believe that God has given us Her Words to be used as tools in manipulating each other to conform to our own differing conceptions of Her Will---we are acting like collusive addicts who are fixated upon alienative issues of control, judgment, self-righteousness, condemnation and exclusivity. Beware when people come saying that they are doing God's will and teaching God's truths; when their hearts are full of resentment, anger, hate, hostility, and vengeance. (c) 2005 by Paul A. Smith in (On Being Yourself, Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
