They will most likely remain subconscious conflicts until we do articulate them, talk about them, and engage in conversations, dialogue and communications regarding them. Not all of our coping processes are verbal, articulated; using formal languages. Many of our coping processes take place without the benefit or hindrance of formal languages; at sub-con-sci-ous levels; without benefit of sci-ence or con-sci-ousness. It is dishonest to act as if all our coping is at the level of consciousness. Part of wisdom is to be able to articulate what has to date been sub-con-sci-ous; without overt scientific knowledge. Many of our conflicts are outside the range of our conscious reach---and so outside the realm of conscious conflict resolution---because we permit the conflicts to remain sub-con-sci-ous; and do not seek to be true to ourselves or to each other about such subconscious conflicts. It is part of wisdom to know when to articulate such conflicts, to talk about them, to engage in conversations, dialogue, and communications in efforts to clarify the poles and issues which characterize our conflicts---so we may transcend our collusions, addictions and codependencies.
