Whenever assumptions, traditions, beliefs, convictions, rituals, doctrines, teachings, rules, regulations, laws, institutions, authorities, leaders, taboos, collusions, addictions and codependencies interfere with the development of honest self knowledge, and with the mutual acknowledgement of honest self knowledge; they function as agents of disintegration: so their powers function in evil ways. To enjoy both personal and communal integrity each community and its members need to become knowledgeable about the ways in which their principalities and powers function to inhibit the development and acknowledgement of honest self knowledge. Each such manner of disintegrative functioning needs to be recognized, known, named, described, and publicly acknowledged for what it is; and for what its disintegrative consequences are. Such recognition, knowledge, naming, descriptions and acknowledgements must be both personal and communal, both affective and cognitive, both public and private; for them to promote both personal and communal integrity. Only through disintegrative collusive games of mutual self deception can it appear that there exists personal and communal integrity in the absence of such personal and communal recognition, knowledge, naming, descriptions, and acknowledgments. We will be liberated when we know the truths, name the truths, describe the truths, and acknowledge the truths about ourselves and about each other. Then our joy and enjoyment will be true and meaningful. In the absence of true self knowledge and communal acknowledgments of true self knowledge---we cannot learn from our own or others' mistakes, and so cannot be wise in our decisions and actions.
