The genius of the scientific paradigm CANNOT in its traditional form be the foundation for making sense of subjective experiences which do NOT lend themselves to the development of measurement procedures, quantification, computation or the development of consensus regarding uncommonly experienced realities. In each instance, to achieve an integrative perspective there must be open honesty regarding human sensations and experiences. Creativity and revelations have to do with transcending the dishonesty of addictions, codependencies and collusions; whether the dishonesty has to do with either objective or subjective realities. In each instance there is a need to place a high value upon honesty about actual sensations and experiences; a value high enough so that our valuing can help us to transcend the prisons of stifling theories and dogmas which are not honestly rooted in human experiences and sensations. Only by honestly appealing to our sensations and experiences can we transcend dishonesty which blinds and desensitizes us. Transcendence is not likely to happen if we are compulsively concerned with objectivity, manipulation, measurement, computation, predictions, and control. Transcendence may happen if we take time out for serenity, meditation, tranquility, relaxation, and reflexive prayer. Collusions, addictions and codependencies tend to set up theories, dogmas and theoretical statements as being of transcendent, supreme, ultimate, idolatrous importance; and so isolate people from honestly considering their sensations and experiences which might reveal the idolatry and its disintegrative consequences in connection with the idolatry. There is danger when any one essential aspect of life becomes exclusively dominate over any other essential aspect of life. Exclusivity, dominance and lack of balance all tend to be disintegrative.
