%TOUCHED WITH INTEGRITY PERSONAL COMMUNAL LOVE RISK 910525

     When we  touch  each  other  with   personal/communal
integrity we are touched by cosmic integrity.

     There are risks present whenever we touch each  other
with and/or are touched by integrity.  We may not continue
to  be as we have been.   We may not continue to appear to
be  in  control of our lives or other lives.   We may  not
continue   to  play  our  little  games  of  mutual   self
deception.

     Our games  of mutual self deception are  more  easily
played  at  the rational/intellectual level  than  at  the
level of affective touching and love.   It is difficult to
be affectively deceptive and escape detection.

     We   may    avoid   touching    each    other    with
personal/communal  integrity out of fear that through such
touching we may be discovered as we really are.

     We   may    avoid   touching    each    other    with
personal/communal  integrity  out of fear that others  may
perceive  us  as violating the rules of propriety  of  our
little  games of mutual self deception,  and in such  fear
touch    us   violently   through    physical,     verbal,
psychological,    spiritual,   monetary  and/or  political
attacks.    We  fear  vulnerability and seek  security  in
isolation   and  alienation  generated  through  defensive
maneuvers.

     The   security   of   touching   each   other    with
personal/communal  integrity entails  vulnerability  which
cannot  be  understood within the paradigm of  our  little
games  of  mutual self deception.    Within  the  paradigm
touching  is  regarded as risky;   appropriate  only  when
prescribed.    The paradigm is a limiting paradigm and  we
need to transcend it to enjoy integrity.

     When we  touch  each  other  with   personal/communal
