Subjectivity is not trustworthy. People who let themselves become involved in subjective intimate relationships are not trustworthy. Thus, with intent of being good they neglect the affective needs of their students, and so they passively abuse their students through their intentional neglect. The scientists' passive neglect of students' affective needs is not due to casual neglect and indifference; it flows from scientists' ideals, values and priorities. They engage in principled behavior designed to conform them to the ideals which are affirmed by the paradigm's educational system, which transcends the understanding and power of individual scientists in ways which objective scientists cannot see---because they cannot permit themselves to be non-objective participant observers in the evaluation of both their own educational system and their own participation in that system. To "pretend" that non-objective participant observers could say/write anything meaningful on the basis of subjective involvement, is to violate the taboos of the paradigm; and that is unthinkable, so it is not thought, and such a "pretense" is not engaged in, so as to avoid such self deception and dishonesty.
