Satisfaction is inhibited by: (1) The absence of any social sub-culture granting any approval at any level of meaning for support of exploration; (2) Lack of mutuality in the desires of the explorers; (3) Lack of desires due to ignorance, elusion, delusion, collusion, depression, repression, exhaustion, indifference, disease, injury, perversion, reversion, revulsion, conversion, brain-washing, oppression, legalism, moralism, piety, arrogance, idolatry, introversion, introjection, rejection, alienation, or any other form of aspect of excommunication; (4) Lack of mutuality in the process of exploration; (5) Timidity on the part of either party; (6) Fear of what discovery may be made; (7) Fear that no discovery will be made; (8) A conviction that there is no discovery to be made because-- there is nothing to discover or all has already been discovered; (9) An accepted view that one is not qualified to undertake such exploration due to age, previous behavior, or other prerequisite not being satisfied; (10) Recklessness and lack of mutual consideration in the exploration; (11) Ulterior motives which are not shared; (12) Inappropriate diversions to objectivity in the exploration; (13) Inappropriate diversions to analysis, programming, systematics, competition or goal oriented behavior; (14) Fear of failure; (15) Fear of the unknown; (16) Fear of letting-go, envelopment, submersion, immersion; (17) Fear of self-revelation; (18) Fear of discovery regarding a partner; (19) Duty to competing priorities; (20) Lack of time; (21) Haste. The mitigation of such inhibitions need not to involve conscious recognition, confirmation, analysis, or action regarding the inhibition. The departure of inhibitions may be via indirect action which may be intuitive and wise without rational justification. A preoccupation with understanding the inhibitions may constitute an inhibition to sexual satisfaction. Sexual satisfaction is occasioned by the fulfillment of socially approved mutual desires for mutual sexual satisfaction. Wise encouragement of such desires, mutuality, and exploration is an expression of love. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
