     Each religious group which emphasizes PURITY must    
      come to terms with the dilemmas which PURITY puts   
       in the laps of its most influential promoters of   
        PURITY:                                           
                                                          
     1.  How can true PURISTS maintain PURITY while       
          being wisely inclusive of new insights, facts,  
           and leaders that are demonstrating new forms of
            personal communal integrities --- that        
             transcend ancient forms of knowledge and     
              wisdom --- and are essential to survival?   
                                                          
     2.  How can true PURISTS avoid the tragic mistakes   
          that extremists often make through arrogance,   
           self-righteousness and pretentiousness;        
            mistakes that are growing because of their    
             own "purity"?                                
                                                          
     3.  How can true PURISTS come to enduringly helpful  
          agreements about what forms of purity must be   
           maintained --- while being sensitive to and    
            responsive to the above dilemmas in changing  
             physical, cultural, scholarly, scientific,
