Not learning each other's languages. 8. Being ego-centric and self-centered. 9. Being righteously coercive and abusive. 10. Trying to control what cannot be controlled. 11. Willfully engaging in addictive behaviors. 12. Being dishonest with ourselves and others. 13. Pretending to be other than who and what we are. 14. Seeking security in getting and using more. 15. Engaging in conspicuous consumerism. 16. Being intolerant of people who are "different". 17. Expecting others to accommodate to our desires. 18. Viewing conformity as the key to "unity". 19. Willfully being ignorant of other's cultures. 20. Using ignorance as a means of self defense. 21. Nurturing anger and revenge as good things. 22. Respecting the knowledge of good and evil ones. 24. Worshipping the past at the expense of others. 25. Refusing to live joyfully in the eternal now. 26. Refusing to describe our relationships honestly. 27. Fixating upon prescriptions and proscriptions. 28. Avoiding confessions, forgiveness & peacemaking. 29. Refusing to truly respect others' integrities. 30. Pretending to be superior to other people. 31. Denying the limitations of Space-Ship-Earth. 32. Trying to turn heaven into an exclusive club. 33. Trying to make God into our own dominant leader. 34. Worshipping our own dominant leader as God. 35. Denigrating complementary ideals and peoples. 36. Over simplifying complex situations & relations. 37. Reducing complexity to either/or questions. 38.
