We will do well and be well as we help each other become aware of "virtuous" forms of bias, extremism, deception, purity and lack of balance; e.g., when: 1. Judgementalism overwhelms gentleness, meekness, humility, and peacemaking. 2. "Generosity" overwhelms respect for other people's wealth, possession, privacy, and right to be true to self and others. 3. Concerns for "purity" on the part of others and self overwhelms respect for humility, honesty, openness, responsiveness, candor, and being in touch with others on the part of self and friends. 4. Preoccupations with law, order, and issues of control overwhelm respect for humility, honesty, openness, responsiveness, candor and being in touch with our human limitations, biases, foibles, prejudices, confusions, and tendencies towards arrogance. 5. Demonstrating our skills in spotting mistakes, blunders and failures in others --- but neglecting to be open and honest about our own mistakes, blunders, failures and disintegrative motivations. 6. Focusing upon the perfection of systems of laws, ethics, and morality --- while refusing to acknowledge the alienative consequences of how we are taking advantage of the existing patterns of laws, ethics, and morality. 7. Pretending that we are serving others by calling for a return to simplicity, trust, and respect for chosen leaders --- while we and those whom we support are are taking advantage of complexity as a means for pulling the wool over the eyes of simple people who are not smart, perceptive or intelligent enough to see how we are taking advantage of their simplicity and vulnerability. 8. Engaging in collusive games of mutual self deception in order to protect our sense of sincerity as we play out our preoccupations with issues of control in efforts to gain and take advantage of increased concentrations of powers which corrupt us, disintegrate us, and disintegrate our communities.
