Concerns for personal integrity and communal integrity are secondary considerations---because if the stock-holders do not support the corporation as a profitable corporation the corporation will fail. Stockholders are committed to making a profit above all---with little regard for personal integrity and communal integrity. How the profit is made is to most stockholders a secondary consideration. Few of the stockholders care if the profit is made by: 1. Leading young people into addiction to tobacco. 2. Leading young people into addiction to alcohol. 3. Leading young and old into addiction to sugar. 4. Fueling wars among emerging nations. 5. Promoting the military industrial complex. 6. Splitting up extended families. 7. Promoting addiction to work. 8. Exploiting females managed by dominant males. 9. Encouraging unhealthy sexual desires/interests. 10. Polluting the environment. 11. Exhausting non-renewable resources. 12. Deceptive advertising to stimulate business. 13. Violations of Universal Human Rights abroad. 14. Promoting extravagant spending. 15. Abandoning declining neighborhoods for profits. 16. Paying the rich for the works of the poor. 17. Concentrating decision making powers in a few. When personal and communal integrity are not central considerations in motivating stockholders and corporate decision making---it is natural that there be personal and communal disintegration due to the motivations of the stock market.
