     What  if  everything we  learn  from  past  mistakes,
tragedies  and  conflicts depends critically upon what  we
have  learned about being reflexively  honest  about  past
mistakes, tragedies and conflicts.

     Objective  paradigms do not lay creative  foundations
for learning from past mistakes,  tragedies and conflicts;
because  honesty about such realities is always reflexive,
rather than objective.  People who are trying very hard to
be  faithful to objective paradigms inevitably avoid  many
reflexive relationships---including avoiding being  honest
about  past mistakes,  tragedies and conflicts which  have
affected them.    They  cannot  be  effectively  creative,
because  of  their  compulsive  preoccupation  with  being
objective.     They  cannot reflect  honestly about  their
own  affective  behaviors, because of their preoccupations
with     objectivity,     measurements,      computations,
manipulations and control.

     If we  cannot be honestly reflexive;  then we  cannot
learn true lessons about our past mistakes,  tragedies and
conflicts;  for such learning is essentially reflexive  in
