Our behaviors flow from our beliefs; then our true statements about what we believe flow from our behaviors, and are explanations of our behaviors. We are honestly responsive, responsible, when we explain our behaviors by saying openly and honestly what we believe. Our honest statements about what we believe are coherent with our behaviors, and are signs of our personal integrity. When we recite conformal statements of belief which we regard as convenient and advantageous for us to recite, we are not honestly responding to people's questions regarding why we behave as we behave. Such conformal recitations are not explanations of behaviors which flow from our beliefs. Rather, they are false statements in which we falsely claim that we believe what we say we believe. Our conformal statement of belief. are false statements which flow from our hidden and confused real belief that such conformal false statements of belief are in our best interest. Our logic is perverted and lacks integrity. Our beliefs are so confused that it is hard to clearly say what our beliefs really are. Our conformal statements about what we believe flow from our fears; they do not flow from our behaviors, and they are not explanations of our behaviors. When we conform to people's expectations of us and recite conformal statements of belief we are not being responsible in responding to questions about why we behave as we do. We are living in the fear that if we do not conform we will not be accepted; acceptable. Our fears undermine both our personal and communal integrity, and our behaviors and statements of belief are incoherent. Is it any wonder that wise people do not believe us and do not believe in us? Is it any wonder that wise people do not follow us? Is is any wonder that most of our friends are addictive and codependent people playing collusive games of mutual self deception with us?
