There can be no middle ground, when the other person may bury you if you turn your back on the battle field. One must judge quickly and decisively whether or not the other person is on YOUR side of the conflict, or on the OTHER side of the conflict. When in doubt it is best/safest to suspect that the uncommitted person is a spy, or is likely to support the enemy in a crisis situation. Being paranoid is the only reasonable state of being on the battle field between truth and falsehood. In the war between truth and falsehood the participant victims on the collusive side must work hard to keep up their false appearances of strength, coherence and merit. To appear to be weak is to lose the battle. Great effort must be expended to appear sure, confident, coherent and threatening to the truthful enemy. When in doubt collusive participants must encourage each other to maintain their faith, and repress doubt wherever it may appear; in self or in others. When in doubt about the commitment of anyone to the holy cause; suspect them of being doubtful, unsure, weak, and likely to serve the enemy: else they will for sure turn out to be the weak link which will undermine the appearance of coherence and strength---and the battle will be lost when the truth becomes evident. The devil himself is sure to be among us, and we must be careful! The three major enemies in the battle are honesty, truth and feeling sympathy for the integrity of the participants on the other side of the battle. Any one of these three enemies is likely to unmask our actual weakness and our merely apparent coherence; and so enable our opponents to attack us where we are weak, and win the battle against our holy collusions. Thus any person who MIGHT slip and speak the truth, must be regarded with careful suspicion, and so be regarded as our opponent. If a person is not clearly our friend, that person MUST be regarded as our enemy. There is NO SAFE MIDDLE GROUND in our sacred war. Thinking or feeling that there might be a middle ground is dangerous, and must be avoided AT ALL COSTS. To be safe, we must be willing to pay all the costs which are necessary, even if we and our community disintegrate in the process of preparing to defend ourselves and our community. Preparing for the coming great war is the sure way to bring peace and security. This truth we hold to be self evident and beyond question. Those among us who question this truth are traitors and should be treated as such! At all costs we must defend our holy way of life to preserve it against all attacks by those we suspect are our enemies. Don't you agree with us? Which side are you on? See the next essay.
