There are also many other actions and expressions which lead to personal and communal disintegration: murder, cutting part of a person off, physical injury to another person which disintegrate cells of the body, poisoning another person, stealing the legitimate property of another person, destroying the legitimate property of another person, telling lies to another person, misleading another person about facts and reason, poisoning the environment of another person, obstructing another person's ability to do what is legal and proper for them to do, limiting another person's range of choices arbitrarily, denying justice to another person; and many other. Such actions lead to personal and communal disintegration and to alienation; and so are evil. Often people are unwilling and/or unable to play a constructive role in describing the hazards which are inherent in engaging in certain patterns of thought, attitudes, emotions, and behavior: hazards to the integrity of self, others, and the community as a whole. Descriptions of the inherent hazards (in the light of real personal and communal experience) are likely to be more helpful, than are arbitrary, capricious, and prejudicial injunctions which are not connected via stories with real existential experiences.
