Disintegrative immorality is rooted in behavior which undermines honesty about human interdependence and finitude. Strivings for moral and legal perfection are misleading and disintegrative when they lead to dishonesty regarding human finitude as it relates to: limited time, conception, birth, death, imperfection, failures, weaknesses, dependency, ignorance, limited resources, disintegrative values and ideals which lead to tragedies, etc. Such strivings will not lead to the transcendence of human finitude. Such striving will lead tragically to illustrations of human finitude and to dishonesty regarding such illustrations. In the light of the consequences of striving for moral and legal perfection the strife entailed in the efforts does not merit respect, approval, or other forms of encouragement. In true peace and serenity there is honesty about all forms of human finitude. In efforts to overcome human finitude there is dishonesty which leads to tragic illustrations of human finitude with no learning. In such tragedies there is little peace or serenity. The dynamics of the tragedies do not lead to meaningful transcendence of human finitude. The transcendence of human finitude does not entail dishonesty about human finitude; it does not entail overcoming human finitude by denial of it, or by ceasing to be finite. The transcendence of human finitude involves participation in integrations which transcend finite individual human efforts. Such transcendence involves honest cooperative efforts within the limitations of human finitude. Such efforts fulfill human desires for honest intimacy in moves towards human integrity. Disintegrative immorality is rooted in behavior which undermines honesty about human interdependence and finitude. Dishonesty about human finitude is not the way to transcend human finitude.
