The new relationships and realities may be new because they had not been encountered previously; perhaps because they had been avoided, perhaps because or less biased reasons. They may have been encountered but their reality and relationships to familiar realities and relationships had not been recognized; perhaps because such a recognition would have been too threatening or would have violated existing taboos, collusions, ideals. Creative insights and perceptions may be impossible to people because of the kinds of approaches they make to each other and the environmental realities of their culture. People may be participant victims in taboos and collusions which are very respected traditions and which inhibit creativity, making the perception of unfamiliar realities and relationships forbidden. To become creative members of such cultures must find the basis for courage to transcend the inhibitions to creative insights. The must find sympathetic support of one kind or another in order to deal with the fear of rejection by important others upon revealing creative insights which threaten the taboos, collusions and ideals of the culture. Creative insights may be presented to an insecure culture with less threat by finding within the culture values and ideals which are congruent with aspects of the creative insight. By presenting as much continuity as possible the creative insights may be sold and made acceptable; showing they will promote personal and communal integrity more successfully than do the taboos, collusions and ideals which make the creative insights dangerous to reveal. To be respected for creative insights the creative insights must be sold as valuable to the culture of the creative individual.
