In the Spring of 2004, I posted a 5-chapter E-Book that includes interrelated postings aimed at helping the viewer learn about why there is such extreme polarization in America and the world and what WE must do to decrease it. Polarization, or the splitting of a community into two or more opposing factions, is found in politics and religion, especially in legislative bodies and within major religious groups in the US and in the Near East. Polarization and closed mindsets destroy true democracy. In five chapters and an Epilogue, I discuss solutions to polarization and point to actions that can reduce the extremist responses and help us work for a more peaceful world.
I have printed copies of the 5-chapter E-Book in manuscript form which is easier to read than a book posted on the web. The printed version contains about 176 pages on 8-1/2 by 11 inch paper with 1.2 inch side margins and a spiral binding. At cost, the price is $16 plus including mailing costs.
