Being detested by guilt for complicity in inadequate responses to the needs that are known to exist; i.e., complicity in failures to adequately meet or mitigate the needs and/or their systemic origins in our communities. Being devastated by guilt for complicity in failing- to-rescue people trapped in the tragic-consequences of: collusive-games-of-mutual-self-deception, addictions, codependent-support-networks, fundamentalism, myths-of- redemptive-alienative-behaviors, invulnerability, good- security-coalitions, sacrificed-distributive-justice, sacrificed-integrities, sacrificed-honesty, sacrificed- intimacies, sacrificed-authenticity, sacrificed-true- lovers. Being devastated by guilt for complicity in failing to accomplish that which is inherently impossible for mortals to accomplish, or cause to be accomplish. Being devastated by guilt for some lack of faith and/or doubt regarding orthodox: beliefs, teachings, rituals, traditions/or religious institutions --- within a community led by loyal supporters of some alienative- domination-systems and/or orthodox-alienative-paradigms. We may judge each form of guilt by its fruits, bitter or sweet. Does it lead to more fear or more hope? More alienation or more authentic love? Be Graciously-Together in the Many-Ways-of-Shalom.
