Effective resistance which is NOT VIOLENT. 2. True-Lovers functioning well without conformity. 3. Resolving-Conflicts without the use of coercion. 4. Righteousness within which conformity plays no role. 5. Communities in which addiction is rarely present. 6. Corporations where codependents are rarely present. 7. Religious institutions were humility prevails. 8. Political institutions where honesty prevails. 9. No collusive games of mutual self deception present. 10. Communities in which alienation is rarely present. It is not only that humans become unable to initiate or envision such possibilities on their own. The tragedy is that humans often become unable to acknowledge the presence of live demonstrations of such possibilities within their immediate neighborhoods, villages, cities, states and organizations. Reality- Denial often becomes so tenacious that when people are confronted with demonstrations of any of the above ten possibilities within their very-presence; they cannot perceive, recognize or acknowledge their presence. Religious leaders often cannot acknowledge the presence of "elephants" which are present within their sanctuaries. Their presence is taboo, and it is taboo to talk about the reality of their presence. (c) 2005 by Paul A. Smith in "Search for Honesty and Integrity" (On Being Yourself Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
