Committments to facilitate and promote: 1. Personal/communal integrations/integrity. 2. Respect for, and gracious consideration of, people's various: desires, perceptions, understandings, natures, ideals, relationships, histories, values, associations, cultures, principles, memberships, languages, goals, friendships, concepts, intentions, creativity, insights, imaginations, intimacies, while resolving tensions and conflicts among them by working cooperatively --- in ways which demonstrate true justice, mercy and humility. 3. Open and honest dialogue by creating and main- maintaining sanctuary communities which exist for the healing of misunderstandings, wounds, hurts, dis-ease, alienation, anger and resentments. 4. The exposure and subversion of disintegrative patterns of: control, domination, coercion, violence, and destruction. True conflict resolution ultimately takes place within cooperative and relaxed relationships --- wherein all participants celebrate their having gained more than they would have gained through any alternative method of settling their differences. Within such cooperative and relaxed relationships the following are notably absent: coercion, violence, dishonesty, pretentiousness, threats, defensiveness, addictions, collusions, greed, prejudice, contentiousness, extremism, terrorism, arrogance, self- righteousness, punishments, etc. In the absence of the above four kinds of NUMBERED committments there is a tendency for people to try to control/dominate each other --- and there are no intentional efforts to mitigate such alienative and disintegrative tendencies.
