We are trembling in fear because liberation from our "faithful servants" would deprive us of their "practical" advantages! How could we survive without our "faithful servants?" True healing and reconciliation can come only when we grant each other the freedom to be safely vulnerable with us, and with each other. True REVERENCE is essential to such intimacy. Complementary essentials include: mutuality, balance, respect, grace, patience, kindness, honesty, integrity, generosity, appreciation, thankfulness, relaxation, rest, cooperation and authenticity. Faithfully demonstrating such virtues will facilitate both personal and communal forms of integration and integrities. In contrast; NON-essentials include personal: certainty, perfection, purity, superiority, control, invulnerability, dominance, exclusivity; submission, obedience and loyalty. To demand/command respect or support for any of the the above NON-essentials --- is likely to undermine/subvert the possibility of us enjoying the above essentials within truly loving communities. Doing so will eave us with only our fake versions of those realities which are the true essentials of meaningful and significant lives together in Love. In the light of the above, thoughtful people have said that God is Love. Others maintain that domination is God, and that the only question is who will be dominant. The latter people maintain conflicts as the dominant realities in their lives. (c) 2005 by Paul A.
