Dishonesty is an example of one way of lacking integrity; but it is not the only way of lacking integrity. We will do well and be well when we discern, name, describe and talk about other ways of lacking integrity --- and deal with them openly and honestly. The following suggest some other related ways of lacking integrity. 2. Going to unbalanced extremes in affirming selected truths in exclusive ways. 3. Seeking to appear to be other than we really are. 4. Engaging in calculated, manipulative and/or coercive maneuvers in efforts to achieve dominance over others at their expense --- to our own unbalanced advantage. 5. Refusing to honor, respect, acknowledge, or attend to our own and/or other persons' own personal perceptions, experiences and associated memories. 6. Clinging tenaciously to traditions, truths, theories and hypotheses which we treat as absolutely valid and beyond the range of proper questions and doubts. 7. Holding selected individuals as responsible for the consequences of communally unattended common diseases, epidemics, plagues, and collusive games of mutual self deception. 8. Attempting to use powerful and/or sophisticated technical means to "solve" our "problems" which are in reality reflexive dilemmas; e.g., situations and relationships which are characterized by conflicts between values, ideals, principles, myths, theologies, goals. No technical "solutions" can exist for dilemmas which are NOT technical problems. 9. Addictively using: alcohol, drugs, work, possessions, women, sex, religion, scriptures, romance, personal-relationships, science, technologies, weapons and physical objects in efforts to achieve security conceived in terms of invulnerability. 10. Presuming to serve as God's specially chosen agents --- entrusted with special: knowledge, revelations, insights, diplomatic-powers and responsibilities --- which transcend those of other people.
