No "good" set of rules, "do's", "do-not's", commandments, prescriptions, proscriptions, scriptures, taboos, or the like --- can be put in place of any "evil" such set --- to make people and communities "better" in any sense. One form of domination is not better than any other form of domination. There is no "good" way for "good" people to dominate "evil" people who support an evil form of "domination". To transcend and mitigate "The Domination System" --- people need to transcend the patterns of "logic", "reason", "thinking", "attitudes", "habits" which are characteristic of supporters of all forms of domination. People need to understand how the "new-way", "third- way", "way-of-grace", "way-of-Love", "Gospel" by any name leads to: Reconciliation not alienation Understanding not mis-understanding Openness/honesty not secretive-deception Personal-integrity not personal disintegration Communal-integrity not communal disintegration Health not dis-ease and sickness Cooperative WIN-WIN not contentious LOSE-LOSE More knowledge not more ignorance More clarity not more confusion/chaos More humility not more arrogance More gentleness not more self-righteousness More creativity not more conformity patterns More freedom not more laws and orders It is the overall-web of dominant inter- relationships which needs to be perceived, named, described, and talked about --- even though supporters of "The Domination System" will be threatened by such perceptions, namings, descriptions, and talk. Evil relationships grow when open and honest communications are suppressed, repressed, discouraged, and/or out- lawed --- by dominant leaders who are seeking to concentrate powers of control into a few of their own kind. The greater is the concentration of powers to control --- the greater is the corruption, and the more deadly is the disintegration of people and their communities. (c) 2005 by Paul A. Smith in (On Being Yourself, Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
