Those powers which are "good" must dominate those powers which are "evil" --- for all that which is "good" to prevail in the fulfillment of God's Will. 2. People who are "good" must dominate people who are "evil" --- for all that which is "good" to prevail in the fulfillment of God's Will. 3. It is o.k. for "good" people to intentionally use: dishonesty, deception, secrecy, coercion, violence, shaming, blaming, condemnations, alienations, isolations, excommunications, and legalistic manipulations --- in "good" efforts to overcome those powers and people who are "evil". 4. "Good" people are those people who conform to "good": beliefs, desires, hopes, aspirations, rituals, visions, reasoning, thoughts, recitations and appearances --- in both public and private settings. 5. "Good" rules, laws, regulations, disciplines, prescriptions, proscriptions and taboos --- are those which help "good" people to achieve dominance over "evil" people, powers, and communities. 6. The essence of all that is "good" was written down long ago in reliable Holy scriptures which truly, totally, and finally reveal God's Unchanging Will for all Mankind. 7. That which is "good" is Eternal and Unchanging; revealed through Eternal Scriptural Truths which are Absolute, Unambiguous, Certain, and Undeniable. 8. There is an eternal battle between the powers of "good" and the powers of "evil" --- with God leading the "good" war battles against all that is "evil". 9. Righteousness entails: being-right, doing-right, thinking-rightly, going-rightly, becoming-right, and associating with the-right-people. 10. Righteous people are loyal people who stand- together for what is right --- no matter what the costs to them and to vulnerable bystanders may be. ===================== The transcendence of "The Domination System" will entail at least the following: 1. Gracious revelations of the ways in which "The Domination System" is supported by and utterly dependent upon: dishonesty, secrecy, collusions, addictions, coercion, violence --- and threats which entail them. 2. Gentle peace-makers working in powerful ways to promote and facilitate win-win conflict resolution and reconciliation in non-violent ways. 3. Mutual understanding and cooperation among diverse peoples who demonstrate diverse kinds of personal and communal integrity. 4. Letting go of preoccupations with the nursing of bad memories of bad times --- and letting go of desires for and intentions of revenge, reprisal, and retaliation. 5. Detaching from the foundations of "The Domination System" --- and from those people who are stuck on those foundations in their tragic ways of thoughtlessly supporting "The Domination System". 6. Detaching from technocratic ways of manipulating and controlling that which cannot be truly controlled with integrity. 7. Detaching from preoccupations with perfection, controls, conformity, purity, being-right, absolute-truth, superiority, inferiority, laws, rules, and enforcement. 8. Detaching from the illusion that being faithful to what we have known and regarded as good in the past --- will prevent future tragedies. 9. Focusing upon the quality of our relationships; rather than upon the quality of the people whom we are willing to associate with. 10. Acknowledging that the low quality of our relationships depend just as much upon us --- as upon those other people who are involved with us in our relationships. (c) 2005 by Paul A. Smith in (On Being Yourself, Whole and Healthy) ==========================================================
